Fitness Challenge Update V.2

Well, I am now beyond my fitness goal. All I have to do now is maintain where I'm at and I'll win the free cruise! When I started the challenge I was 195lbs & 17.5%body fat. I am now at 175lbs & 12.8% body fat.
Also, do not forget about Super Bowl Sunday ! I'm planning to have lots of food and snacks. Let me know if you're planning to come.

Mark it down! Super Bowl party at my house! I won my fantasy football championship! So I now will have HD TV in time for the Super Bowl with a DVR recorder. Also make note that March Madness will be on at my house as well. WOOT WOOT !

Fitness Challenge Update

Well, its the halfway point of my work's fitness challenge. So far I have lost 15lbs. so I am well on track to winning the free trip. It sounds like it will be a free 3day cruise in the bahamas. So that is pretty cool. In other good news, this coming weekend is the finals for fantasy football. If I win, I will be watching the Spartan hoops team and Superbowl in HiDef. Not much else is new. Keep updating everyone!

Hello everyone ! Happy Thanksgiving! Hope everyone has their share of Turkey and all the fixin's.
Not too much is new. I have been continuing my diet that I mentioned earlier. Free trip to the Carribean for a little weight loss isn't a bad deal. I lost 7lbs. to date and I'm well on my way to reaching my goal of a 15% fat reduction. I've learned a lot of new things as far as lifting weights and eating better, so if anyone wants to pick my brain be my guest.
Also, Random Johnson has a show December 1st in Hamtramck. It's a thursday night but there is no cover and we will be the only band there so you won't have to listen through some painful crap. Sorry about the last show for all that attended. Those bands had the suck-meter set to 11 !
If anyone is interested in going let me know and we can carpool or something. We will probably start at 9:30ish. We will unveil a new song as well ! Kind of aMxPx/Blink182 sounding thing.

So I haven't posted in a long time. So here is my guilt trip post. Happy Halloween from Bucky "construction worker" Katt. That hard hat looks extra protective.
Not too much new is going on. I'm in a new fitness challenge at work. This is #3. If I complete it I get a free 3 day trip to Cancun. So I've swore off beer until the end of January. Ouch!

Gosh I'm lazy. Well here is an update. Random Johnson has a show on Oct. 8th. It's @ Paychecks in Hamtramck. We will be playing some new songs and it should be a good time. Heidi gave me a bare ass-crack moon just now. Wow !!! Anyways, continuing on, way to go Spartans!! I'm planning on going up to East Lansing this weekend for the State game. No tickets, but who cares. If anyone wants to meet up there let me know.

So here's the deal. I failed miserably to keep my blog updated. I thought it would be super easy but it's not. If only I had a laptop so I could update it while I poo like Derek does. Nice way to multi-task Derek ! Anyway, Congrats to Dave and Annie on their wedding and to Mike for post the great pictures from the wedding. It was fun and the firebird was out flyin'.

Well I'm back from my Honeymoon in Hawaii. 10 days of fun, sun, sunburn, twisted ankles and flu like symtoms. Heidi and I had a good time and got to do many exciting things. Here is a highlight of a few.
* Got to visit Dog the bounty hunter's bail bonds.
* Ate SPAM sushi from a ABC convience store
* Became addicted to Mai Tais

Well now I'm back to the ordinary grind. I have a full goatee growing now. I will probably keep for the rest of the week. We have a show on Friday at Small's in Hamtramck so I might shave it into a handlebar moustache. From there we may have a show in Ypsilanti where I will probably shave it again into a Trash Stache. Facial hair is soooo much fun. Sorry Andy Wood :(

In closing, I hope those of you who were at my wedding had a good time. I have A LOT of liquor left over so I should try and plan a big bash this summer. Possibly the GRUNGE PARTY!

Well, we had our weigh in on Friday morning. We won !!!! By less than half a pound! I weighed in at 176lbs. Not bad from a starting weight of 198lbs. Although later that day I put 3lbs of water back on. Nonetheless, it was a good day. I celebrated with stuffed crust pizza and now I'm quickly on my way to gaining it all back.

The count down continues to my wedding. 19 days left.

Biggest Loser

Well, I just got back from our show at the Magic Stick in Detroit. Thanks to everyone for coming out. Haha. We did quite well and I didn't pass out. More on that later. We now have shirts made up for sale at our shows. Sorry no e-commerce store on our main webpage coming soon. Ricky P. Nutz didn't forget too many lyrics, Chris was able to balance himself upright for the whole show (leg surgury) and Adam was widdly widdly widdly-ing away quite well.
Well as you may or may not know, I've been in a company sponsored "Biggest Loser Competition". It's not what you're thinking, otherwise they would have handed me the trophy and called it done. Its actually a weight-loss competition with 2 teams of 3 people. The goal is too lose the most weight as a percentage of your original weight. Well the losing team has to buy the winning team a round of golf @Sheppard's Hallow and lunch at the club house. Not bad I'm thinking, until mid way through the competition I find that the green fee is $75/person! WTF !!
Let's do some math.....
$75 x 2 people = $150
+ $20-30 club rental (being a lefty without clubs sucks)
$20 x 2 people = $40 for lunch

So basically if my team loses, I take one of their team members on a fancy golf date. So tomorrow is the final weigh in and my team is losing by about 1.65 lbs. So far, I have lost about 20 lbs and now I'm starving myself of water and food for the final day so thankfully I didn't pass out tonight at our show. I've been so desperate that I got a haircut and I'm going to cut my toe nails and finger nails tonight. I've even considered shaving the firebird as well, but that would make Derek mad. So I'll keep it. Well here is to my 6am jog through the neighborhood tomorrow to burn up any extra water weight in my system. GOD, I'm craving Pizza !!!!!!!!!!!!

Look at me I've already been slacking on my blog.. Well no one is reading it yet because I think I've only told Nutz about it. Anyway, not too much new going on with me. I have jury duty tomorrow so I will be bored as hell. Well we have a show coming up on thursday at the magic stick in Detroit for the Emergenza battle of the bands competition. We made it to the 2nd round. So extra special thanks to those who were there for us. We were hoping to add a new song to our set list for the show, but we will not be able to put together any of our new ideas in time. The new stuff is pretty cool and heavy. It will really push me in terms of my limited drumming ability.

God I must be bored tonight. Undertaking a blog on a whim's notice. I think the main reason I'm doing this is because I enjoy reading everyone else's blogs. My only complaint is that nobody updates them for months at a time. So here I am trying to do what the others can not, only to fail after a couple of months. Viva the Random Log !!!!
